GT Sports the most anticipated racing franchise has lost the rights to host the second season of the Trans-Nation Supercars Championship, this also includes the Trans-Nation Porsche Carerra Cup and Trans-Nation Toyota 86 Series included.

Project Cars 2 created by Slightly Mad Studios will not only host the next series but with it brings forth new Ford Falcon FG models to partake in the series.

Whilst the move to the other game means the Supercars and anticipated Super2 series will take on a one make series much like the other categories below them, Head CEO of the Trans-Nation committee Brett Keenan believes this was a needed move on the scale of more accessories to make racing better.

Keenan told TKA MEDIA NEWS after the announcement of the switch was made.

"Whilst Project Cars 2 also lacks the Holden and of course custom liveries we feel as though Supercars should be 'Supercars' and with the lacking features of GT Sports we gain in PC2 I think we're going to be creating an atmosphere that might put the Supercars on par if not above our current Trans-Nation Formula 1 series that is nearing it's conclusion of the third season."

The season will make its switchover and start at the Dub
