Though the first round of the championships official calendar has been raced and completed the TNSC CEO's have finally been able to make some confirmed choices as well as announce the class of 2019 to date.

With only one REC up for grabs 15 of the possible 16 drivers will tackle the remaining 14 rounds and 26 races at 3pm GMT+13/12 on both Saturdays and Sundays, this multi day race weekend is to keep the racing fresh each and every weekend rather than racing both races on the same day/time frame and having wound up drivers from race 1 causing problems in race 2.

"It's one of those cause and effect processes that implied the decision to run a race on Saturday and Sunday at those equated times." Head CEO Brett Keenan explained to TKA MEDIA NEWS after the announcement was made public of race days/times.

"If you think about the way a certain incident that I will refrain from exampling in this situation transpired after one race with one pretty much set to go not that much longer after that race concluded you'd have very fired up people making mistakes or even the off chance of a 'return-serve' process which would leave much in the way of issues that are better to just be resolved on the day, move on to tomorrow and go from there."

"The GT Sport contact system is very unrefined in the manner that even the slightest amount of contact can send a car flying off the track and it's partially stuff that we can't avoid what with the nature of touring cars being bump and grind. We're certainly not going to ask drivers to be cautious when overtaking because that kills the enjoyment of the odd 'have a go' moment. But we have seen some incidents that are clear indications that people need to take caution when thinking of a move."

"I mean yes, there is a few questions that need answering, there's bound to be a few tales to tell, a few fingers pointing at others and all sorts of accusations. But we have to deal with what we have, anything looking completely untoward will be looked into, but anything that is from minor contact is probably just going to be declared a racing incident and moved on from." Keenan added.

After the procedurals were released for the dates and times, the released announced teams were given also. This was to also include the newly formed BMW BANK outfit driven by Erik Sivertsen as well as Joshua Banks move from Ford to BMW.
