In what has been described as a fugle separation. Joshua Banks has removed himself from the Ford Mustang outfit known as Tickford and has presented himself at JD Motorsport to field a fourth BMW M6, still holding the SUPERCHEAP AUTO colours.

With a fresh new paintscheme to embark on his new journey Banks will hope the M6 delivers more to what he believed the Mustang could provide.

Despite holding the power advantage all weekend long, the Ford Mustang proved to wear its tyres and burn fuel a lot heavier than it's German and Korean rivals (BMW and Hyundai) leading to fuel and tyre saving to which in Sterling Wests case proved unaffecting as he took victory in Race 2 of the weekend. For Banks however it was a tumultuous feeling leading him to express his distaste of the car and his depature from the brand.

Manufacturer points awarded to Ford through Josh will remain and from here Banks will carry his points for himself and JD Motorsports off-branch team led by Mark Bratby.
